Artist History
The police-cops started when eric first learned how to play
guitar. He wanted to start a band, so he called up a
couple of friends of his who were in a band called
the Doll-tones, who are now the Ted Dancin Machine.
Bubba the drummer, and Brett the Bass-player. We
started screwing around and playing stereotypical
songs of each genre, and writing down some stereotypical
lyrics. We needed a singer, so we called andrew and he
came over. The first practice ended with 10 songs.
A couple of weeks later we played our first show. Since
then we have played several shows, never practicing
in between. Andrew and I started writing some acoustic
songs, and recently we played our last show as a 4
piece. Brett quit the band, and Bubba moved to Portland
while Andrew and I moved to Seattle. So we're living
on as a two man acoustic for now. We may be looking
for a drummer however, so if you're a drummer from
seattle, and you like what you hear, contact us. |
