Artist History Formed out of the ashes of 2 bands on an Atlantic Records Susidiary. J. Webb & G. Kay started recording songs together, and quickly snatched up Don when they saw him playing @ a club on Houston in NYC. the tunes we're quickly recorded in the winter of 2001 @ "the shop" (montreal). upon completion of the recordings, the lipstick's played their 1st show @ the go-go lounge in montreal. the show was packed & they rocked the house. at the show's closing, they took the "after-party" over to "club super sex". a fun time was had by all... especially Don, who decided to jump up on a table (shirtless)and hose himself down w/ strawberry syrup... it's unclear where he got the syrup from.... but, equally un-important.. the lipstick's plan to release a full length (available on-line ONLY) in the late winter of 2002. it will be marketed and promoted on-line by their friends @ Dominance (a web- based artist marketing/ promotional conglomerate). songs will be updated @ this site regularly. as well as, information about what the band is up to... so, stay tuned! thanx, enjoy!

Press Reviews lipstick car-crash (from the u.s), played to a packed house on thursday @ the 60's hang-out "the go-go lounge" on St. Laurent. they played an unbelievably short set (i think like 30 minutes), and left everyone wanting more.... their antics @ club super-sex spoke for themselves.. sweet rock w/ attitude to boot... -chart magazine (montreal) december 2001
