Hètten Dès’ target is to combine the Alternatieve Country and Americana of Dale Watson, Hank III and Steve Earle with Punk Rock à la Social Distortion, The Supersuckers and Nine Pound Hammer, and authentic classics like Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr, and the complete Sun Rockabilly catalogue.
The bandmembers are Kowboy Konrad (ex-Sin Alley, ex-Los Fabulous Frankies, currently Runnin’ Wild), guitarist Sammy Boy (ex-Gearjammers), double bass player Ronny Cash (ex-Ratmen, ex-Domino’s) and drummer Piston Pedro (ex-Cagy, ex-Evil Thingies, currently Los Putas). Together they form a firm fist in the face of today’s Nashville and their muscled RebelCountryRock shows that also Country Music can have balls. And, oh yeah, line dancing is extreemely Forbidden!
