Artist History WER started as The Ripoffs. It was Pual, Joe, and Tim who all went to school together. Then Justin (the manager) introduced The Ripoffs to Ryan who he used to go to school with. And hence Civil Disobedience was born. We recorded 9 songs in 2 1/2 days and put out a tape. Then we found out there are a bunch of bands called Civil Disobedience so we changed our name to West End Riot (after a Living End Song) and oh yeah we picked up some horns in there somewhere
