The eradication of prejudice by dealing with everything on an individual level, and 3.) Luv.. Ever vigilant on their research in literature, investigative reports and personal interviews to obtain enough lyrical fuel to ignite a musical conflagration.Although many superstars like David Bowie, Nina Hagen, and Lene Lovich had proceeded Trap Door in their out-of worldly connections, Trap Door was unique in the fact that they were "Naming Names!"

Trap Doors Newest On MP3.comBETHLEHEM, Penn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 23, 1999--Interstellar Disc's primary artist, Trap Door, releases its second album, Conscious, on MP3.com. Conscious will be released as a DAM (Digital Automatic Music) CD; this is a compact discs containing songs in both MP3 and standard CD audio format. The group hopes to expose a larger audience to their unique style of dance music with the 13 song release. The band is comprised of 12 performers, each bringing their unique talents and gifts together to create a one-of-a-kind phenomenon. The members of Trap Door are based on a popular, digest sized, underground comic book, (created and illustrated by Check and A. Thom), which features the band's humorous and heroic adventures. Trap Door's musical style does not fit easily into established categories, so they have created their own, ``Intergalactic Bump.'' The music deals with three main topics, the disclosure of suppressed or lost information, the eradication of prejudice by dealing with things on an individual level, and love. Trap Door has been featured in international magazines (UNICUS, UFO Sightings, and UFO Universe) and has written and produced a half hour television special for MAPP Magazine. They have also been featured on RAI International Television on a special about the future and have most recently been voted best original band by the Lehigh Valley Music Awards. Musically, Trap Door has attracted the attentions of King Crimson's Warr guitar player, Trey Gunn. Gunn is a guest Chapman Stick player on the song, ``Song of Luv'' on Conscious and has also appeared live on a dual bill with the band. As a whole, the members of Trap Door do not accept anything without reproof, and are careful to research the topics that they sing about. It is this dedication that has earned Trap Door the friendship of many of today's noted scientist and archeologist such as renowned scholar, Zecheria Sitchin and former aid to NASA and CBS News, Richard C. Hoagland. It is their desire to reach a mass audience with some of the information that they have uncovered and inspire their listeners to do their own research. It will hopefully become apparent through their new release that they are committed to entertaining, educating and pleasing their audiences and fans.
