Artist History
When singer/songwriter Martin Shears formed The Scones in 1995 he had a vision of unique modern pop music with all the artistry and timeless splendour of the classic pop artists of the post-Beatle era. English born Shears learned his songcraft from his homeland’s finest and completed the group in America with Jeff Owens (Bass), Dave Schreck (Drums), and Ronnie Winters (Guitar). Since then The Scones have performed close to 1000 shows and released their debut record Do You Hear? in May of 1999. |
