Artist History
Allright. It all got started in High School when I first picked up the guitar, and I envisioned "the band." Right. Anyway it took me 4 years to get my act together and after trying to start Roy G. Biv, I ended up getting lost in various other projects (which are coming soon to mp3.com, mind you), and "Roy G. Biv" became strictly solo. So here I am, Guitar in one hand, Bass in the other, with visions of drums spinning around my head . . . |

Press Reviews
"The cleverly named Roy G. Biv achieves some interesting effects on the guitar, really taking it through its paces. Inventive Indie music has this laudable ethic: "just one rule: NO SYNTHESIZERS!'" -Chad Driscoll, Listen.com "your music is like running up a pile of logs. i might listen to it while brushing my teeth in my dorm. its got that "ive been locked in the closet for a while with nothing but socks and cheetos" flavor, which i like. i can smell my step brother's black pantera shirt now (he wore that all the time)." "From: doug cheatwood http://www.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/doug_cheatwood/Date: 03-05-2000 23:37:58Subject: she-devils make for interesting conversation" " . . . But it does have a uncompleted element to it, and I'm guessing it's the absence of melody! Still, if you like low key style music, download for 15minutes, let cool and enjoy! Can serve anyone!" -Reviewer from traxinspace.com, on Wolf359. "Slow-paced beginning. This is how I run the mile during track practice! This song is a little too slow for me and I'm not sure I like it. It reminds me of that winter sadness song by some Chinese guy. Ugh. I'm getting depressed just thinking about it. If you like slower-paced songs, that are very mellow and harmonic, this song would be great for you. I thing all my muscles are going to rebel and fall asleep on me!" - Caitlin, HitSession.com |
