Artist description Rock of Ages was created 1996 by Axel Stender. The tape consists of four musicians and a front singer. Our music direction describes Rock to Rockpop. At present we operate on our Live Program with which we the public to present shortly would like ourselves.

Artist History Guitars: Hi, my name is Axel Stender. I started guitar-playing in 1982. I had different private teachers and also I studied from books. In 1987 I joined my first band and did a couple of gigs. 1995 I build my own studio and the next year Rock of Ages became life. Keyboard: some guestmusicans Vocals : Hello, I`m Beate Blisnjuk. In 1987 I joined the band "Noblesse". We released one song on the venyl "NMS Splitten 87". 1990 I changed to "Dynastie" and later I did some studiowork. After a short rest I joined " Rad Kick " in 1994 and we released a CD called " Peace of mind ". Since 1999 I have been to " Rock of Ages". Bass : Hi, my name is Frank Husmann.1976 I started studying at a guitarschool. In 1981 I had first bandproject. After that in 1984 I started with the bassguitar. Since 1985 I played in different bands, studios and did also some gigs. Right now I have two different bands, three studioprojects and also I`m a part of Rock of Ages. Drums : Hello, my name is Kay Suhling. Already with 6 years the impact things play began. In the course of the years I played in different tape and projects. Recently I entered with the tapes “Rock of Ages“.

Press Reviews Much like fellow countrymen FAIR WARNING, Rock Of Ages play no frills melodic hard rock, led by Beaty Blisnjuk the band belt out cool songs like "Broken Heart", this track has some really nice guitar work from Axel Stender , vocally Beaty reminds me of SANDI SARAYA and LANA LANE. She has a sleek but powerful range, which is backed by some tastefull melody instumentation from the band which is made up with Michael Pehlgrim on keys and Frank Husmann on bass guitar. My favorite song is the semi ballad "She's Singing Na Na Na...", I love the way Beaty's voice goes skyhigh, this is a moody dark song and is very nice to listen to. Also very good is, no make that brilliant is the SARAYAish "When The Children Cry", superbly structured and reminds me of other bands like DOKKEN, ROMEOS DAUGHTER, JOHN NORUM (solo), LANA LANE, DANTE FOX etc.. the chorus is simply spot on, and again Beaty hits some really nice notes. This is a five track mini album which serves as an introduction to the bands music which could also be described as the female version of FAIR WARNING. A very nice start.
