Artist History Pepper's life as a performing musician began early, writing her first songs at eight, and playing on both coasts by twenty. In the summer of 1998, she released an 8 song EP, MARROW, under her maiden name, Pepper Acton, on Cleveland's Sound of the Sea label. McGowan’s second CD is currently in the early recording stages, and will be released on her own label, Banished Ham Records, early next year.
