Artist History
Solveig Hoegh-Krohn and Maria Orieta, the core of Lemur, met in a cabin in the forests of Norway in 1998. They hit it off well and soon started playing together, writing songs, and enjoying wacky adventures. Later, in the summer of 1999, the duo met up again - this time in the rural fields of Silicon Valley - and started making studio recordings and putting on shows in the San Francisco Bay area. |
