Artist History
Born in the early summer days of 1998, stepping out of Wilmington, NC; Face of Humanity arose and since then has sickened crowds with their full-fledged metal influenced rendition of hardcore. A sight of them kickin' it live on stage could be anything from skeleton masks to halloween costumes and everything between. Which is a perfect explanation in itself for the kids calling them "scarecore". They play such crazy sets of nonstop action with lots of sing-alongs and dance breaks, not even a strobe light could slow them down! Their influences musically come from legendary bands such as: Overcome, Zao, Converge, Dillinger Escape Plan, Sky Came Falling, and Living Sacrifice. Metal Destruction! They have just recorded and are awaiting the release of their debut Cd EP on Clenchedfist Records! Don't procrastinate on this one though, this will be the record that sets them apart from every other metalcore band. Besides, don't you want to be the first kid on your block to say you liked Face of Humanity before they take the nation by storm? Uh, huh... .They will continue to play as often as possible and put out as many records as they can, sharing the hope and love they have inside. Behind the scary masks, Face of Humanity has a genuine heart for reaching out to individuals just like them who live the hardcore life. "We are trying to get kids to except their belief of Christianity in a non-religious manner. Religion is a lie!"-Face of Humanity's guitarist, Cutler. They will continue to support the underground hardcore scenes and give a meaning of hope to those less fortunate until their Master returns. |
