Artist description Evil Eye is D.I.Y. (Do it Yourself) music in action. Using samples from a broad spectrum, and combining them with Game Boy beats, various toy keyboards, an old cheap drum machine, and some riot bass thrown in for good measure, our protaganist, the evil eye, also known as Evan Hayden, takes us through great audio journeys that buzz and hum, and break into ear-shattering noisescapes at the blink of an eye, yet soon blend into gentle 8-bit sonnets or funkalicious beats. Watch out Evil Eye, your batteries may run out... then what do ya do?? btw, major update coming soon! sorry, I've been busy.

Music Style Experimental electronic music with occasional Nintendo overtones. Hard to describe... like a soundtrack to a post-apocalyptic world filled with robots making love to broken karaoke machines.

Artist History I got my first keyboard, a little white Casio, when I was about 7 or 8. Ever since then, I have twiddled around with various electronic goodies, and combined thier sound with my passion for drum beats. and noise. I started making my tapes under the name Evil Eye in 10th grade, and soon got a CD Burner, which I now use to great extent. Now, a sophmore in college, and after making some 40+ hours of Evil Eye music/noise, I want to maybe aim for success with this odd blend of sonics!

Instruments computer (various sound editing progs: Goldwave, Windat, Snd Rec), keyboards (I got 8 of 'em... 5 of which are toy synths.), old Korg drum machine, Nintendo game systems, toys, distorted voice, zither, record player (I don't have enough $ for real turntables), organ, effects pedals, screams, etc etc etc
