Artist History Eirene started in 1993 with a quick assembling of the musicians to provide song-leading for the NW Pennsylvania Synod Youth Gathering. After a tremendous start, more concerts quickly followed, and we started writing our own material. Before long, we were doing less of the sing-along music and more of our own concerts, and a first album was born. • The band has experienced nothing but growth, and we are now promoting our third album, Songs of the Covenant. This album represents the band's most recent state, at it's current level of maturity and theology. • Over the past six years, Eirene has played the gamut, from the “small but mighty” crowds of 5 people to large events like the Southwestern PA Synod Assembly, returning every year for the Northwestern PA Lutheran Youth Gathering, and as the closing act at Lutherlyn’s Summerfest for several years.
