Artist description Dave is a singer songwriter, and also lead vocalist with Christian heavy metal band Crucifer. He has recently concentrated on his solo efforts and songwriting, winning the North West United Kingdom Songwriting competition 1997. ============================================== CRUCIFER: Now we've got some Crucifer material for you, better tell you a bit about them. Crucifer have been around in the UK for a number of years now, playing uncompromising Metal with a Christian message (indeed one of the band is a Reverend and another is a Lay Preacher!!). They have enjoyed huge success at the Meltdown (as was Metal Meltdown) festival which seeks to help and promote budding Christian musicians and has recently seen the likes of Michael Sweet perform there. This year (1999) Crucifer are headlining the weekend. They are also long serving stalwarts of the Greenbelt Festival, one of the UK's largest Christian music and worhip gatherings.
