Artist description
In a CN9 "exposure" a live human is inside of a pine box. A video monitor placed atop the pine box displays the real-time image of the human inside the box. The human transmits audio "exercises" for participants to contemplate and/or actively employ. The human exposes a "symbolic death" via his media entombment. Participants to this "exposure" witness a sort of schizophrenic reference of "being" unable to immediately reconcile the spectral projections of the performer with the performer's immanent physical presence. |
