Artist description
GEMSTONE is a four-piece rock band (formerly calm waterz) known throughout Northeast Pennsylvania. They are now playing the local scene and once again creating a buzz for their driving original songs and strong performances. Their sound blends many styles of contemporary music - alternative, folk, punk, blues and classic rock. This diversity creates the unique sound of GEMSTONE.
Playing live this band rocks the house with its music and performance.
As calm waterz they received airplay and support from 97.9 The Bear and WKRZ 98.5, 95.1 WZZO and others. Now back on the scene as GEMSTONE, they are attracting regional and national attention. This has brought them top-level New York management, Ron Yatter Management, (he was formerly Senior VP of the William Morris Agency) and major labels are expressing interest.
GEMSTONE has finished recording their new CD which, along with
"Reality" (their first release), is available here online.
With the engineering and production skills of Brett Alexander and Paul Smith (The Badlees - The Cellarbirds), the new CD has a unique vibe and sound.
