Artist description
What is Blender? Blender is the result of a few years of three guys writing and playing songs together. All three of them have a love for the same kind of music - good songs played well. While mostly pure pop, these boys borrow at times from soul, R&B, electronica, and good old fashioned rock. Check out http://home.clear.net.nz/pages/blender |

Artist History
Gareth, Ross and Clint have played together in various bands since about '93. But at some point the passion for performing covers, with a big band, in dodgy bars, died. After that, the three started writing and playing songs. Recently Blender have focussed on finally recording all their songs, and have put together a CD which they will distribute to those who are interested. The songs recorded are probably not the best versions - their best performances have probably been in Ross' old flat on Oriental Parade, or perhaps after work one night at the OMW rehearsal studios in Newtown. But have a listen, as they are fairly proud of what they have achieved on a very low (no) budget. Ross left NZ in 2000 to work in Melbourne and Todd and Tony have joined the band. Look out for gigs in the coming months.
