Artist History Over the last 3 years, Audiobomb has developed a unique sonic foundation in Toronto as an energetic five-piece ensemble. Armed with a barrage of uncommon modern noises, multifaceted rhythms and distinctive sweeping melodies, Audiobomb have reinforced a harmonious peace treaty between their raw sound and synthetic complexity to create well-balanced, innovative music. Since it’s conception, Audiobomb’s members have respected each other’s diverse influences and tastes to formulate a healthy musical symbiosis. Their greatest challenge, it seems, is maintaining accessibility while taking more of an avant-garde approach at song writing. The ordeal, however, is compensated at every show by a full house of alternative music supporters. In the EYE magazine booker report, Audiobomb was listed as “a band that draws big crowds without media hype” and “the most consistent return on your investment.” Audiobomb's increasing popularity can be attributed mainly to an explosive live show. The band has been billed at The Amnesty Freedom Festival, NXNE 2000 and 2001 and a recent opening slot for the Lowest of the Low show in New York. While refining their live show, Audiobomb has also spent much time in the studio writing and recording new material, assuming complete control in playing, producing and engineering their music. Aside from the musical aspect of the band’s creations, all artwork, graphics and animated web design, (www.audiobomb.net) is produced by the band. Audiobomb has taken a Do-It-Yourself approach to the success of the band to combat the changing industry.
