Artist description LAWSTREET 16 was born in Brussels, Belgium in October 2001. The band consists of 5 long-time friends, all of them being (a bit) older than your average hardcore kid. Lawstreet 16's one & only aim is to have some fun while playing the music they've always liked, which is old-school hardcore. LS16 would like to remind the new generation of hardcore kids that, basically, hardcore music and metal were two different styles with nothing in common. Some of them have been/are playing in other bands. For the others, Lawstreet 16 is their first serious experience as a band. LAWSTREET 16 just started playing shows recently. They already shared stages with bands such as Ensign and Right for Life. Of course, their set of songs will grow bigger with time but at the moment, the band can offer a cool mix of original material as well as cover songs of some legend old-school bands that have a big influence on LS16's sound (Minor Threat, Uniform Choice,…). LS16 have plans to spend a few hours in a semi-professional studio in order to record their material and release it as a promotional demo tape. Don't hesitate to get in touch, if you intend to set up a show in your area, they will consider any offer equally.
