Artist description
I believe in the "Three E"s - Education, Expression and Entertainment.
All these get fulfilled in my music as this is the major part of my everyday life.
Most Indian classical instruments tend to follow vocal music and I tend to render
the same with my instrument - Sitar. Many of my compositions are originally from
classical songs and I use a lot of petterns that may only be found in vocal music.
There are also certain technics that may only be used in instruments, particularly in
Sitar (Jhala is one example). These are integral parts of my performances as well.
Please listen to the pieces I gathered here from my performances throughout my
life. I hope you will like thes |
