    Artist History
His knees were knocking and his hands were shaking as 8 year old Malcolm took the stage to sing “Away in the Manager” at the annual Sunday School concert held at the United Church he attended as a child. This was first time he sang before an audience but, as time went on he became quite accustomed to the experience. At nine he began to play the guitar and in his teens began to write his own songs. Malcolm was brought up in the Bay of Quinte area of Ontario. He musical talent and love for the Lord opened doors for him to play many of the churches and talent nights in the area. For a short period of time Malcolm’s love for music and desire to play found him playing in the bars in the area also. Time went by and Malcolm moved to Toronto and soon found himself playing at various coffee houses and outreaches. In 1978 Malcolm met his wife while working at Crossroads Christian Communications Inc. He married in 1979. Together, singing an original song of Malcolm's, they made their first appearance on national television. In 1994 Malcolm, Carol and their daughter Carmal started attending the Scarborough Vineyard Christian Fellowship (SVCF). Carol and Malcolm were invited to become part of the worship team and shortly after Malcolm became one of the worship leaders there. During this time he was invited to lead worship for conferences in Canada, the United States and Germany. He was also one of the featured worship leaders on the SVCF “Worshipping Heart” album where three of his original songs can be heard. While at the SCVF Malcolm’s desire to see people set free of their deep hurts grew. The Lord began to equip Carol and Malcolm for this type of ministry, and they were recommended to lead worship for an Elijah House Prayer counseling school (part of John and Paula Sandford’s ministry). Malcolm and Carol have been traveling with the Elijah House Canada teaching team as worship leaders ever since. Their travels with Elijah House has taken them to Vancouver, Edmonton, Hamilton, Toronto, Orangeville and various cities and towns in Northern Ontario. Their music has been embraced by Protestants and Catholics alike.
