Press Reviews
New Blood Issue #9 (E-Zine) - http://www.digital-noise.net/newblood/: Hell yes. If you've been searching for a band with unrelenting and powerful guitars with deep cries of anger with that sense of catchyness in the way that you can just bob your head back and forth to the beat of the drums? They Came Burning is your band. Words can't describe just how brutal this music is. The best part is that they pull off the hardcore music better than many of the signed hardcore bands out there today, and I feel they should easily replace some of those bands. They Came Burning is a hardcore mindblowing romp to your hearing senses, and it couldn't feel any better. -Logan Bowes; Kill The Noise (Web Review) - http://www.killthenoise.net/ - The slow, heavy and dark opening guitar riff paves way for the feel of this 5-track demo. It's mostly-aggressive vocals with some overlayed spoken parts, however the first melodic chorus in the second track leading nicely into a gentle guitar bit shows a more delicate side. There's some nice metalcore riffs in track 3, probably the most impressive track on the CD. This is definitely promising stuff, The only problem with this cd is it may get a little monotonous, with the tracks sounding too similar. -Matt B. |
