Artist History SLIK BIO. ___________________________________________________________ Since the formation of the band which is called sLiK nowadays, there have been several changes in line-up. The last two years the band has been developing their own style & sound. _ A threesome consisting of Tommie on guitar, Bas on bassguitar and Ruud on drums, had been writing and experimenting with their own songs for a while, when singer/rapper Tim joined. It was like the pieces of a puzzle falling together. Raw, hard songlines blended with tight guitar- and basslines, and drums which do not merely provide a rhythm but are a musical force on their own. _ It is hard to label their music, being almost a style on its own. The best description would be, Machinehead meets Papa Roach meets Rage against the machine. But the band also plays some funKy jaZz from time to time. _ At the moment the band is using lots of experimental styles in their music. They are also exploring the possibilities of the electronic manipulation of music. This band is not going to stick to one style and will never be boring. Press Reviews Exit in G live prijs, Finale: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- sLIK bewijst in de finale nogmaals dat ze een uiterst energieke live act zijn met behoorlijke potentie om het was hoger op te zoeken. Strakke songs, groovende ritmes, beukende drums, energieke zanger, kortom alles wat een groovende machine in zich moet hebben. sLIK is lokaal inmiddels geen onbekende meer en als ze deze weg blijven volgen zal de rest van de provincie en op den duur de rest van het land er niet onderuit kunnen. sLIK komt eraan!!!
