Artist description
Already carving up UK and Ibiza dancefloors, and now set to infect your summer is this heatstroke gem from pop trouble ROC and collaborator Solah. Raiding ROC's kaleidoscopic song stash, Solah has created the perfect loping dub groove, under a serene new vocal by ROC's Karen.
The 12" contains Solah's mix in full 8-minute and radio-edit formats. Also there's a stunning garage/breaks mix by London dj/producer Slangton (getting its own thumbs up from the breakbeat mafia), and ROC's own episodic midnight 4/4 treatment.
The mixes are already quaking clubs courtesy of Les Ryder (Cream), Botchit and Scarper, Richard Norris, Mole (Kiss FM), Mimi (Scala), Chris Carter (The End), Disastronaut (Sonic Mook), Capoeira Twins, Surreal Madrid, Precision Cuts, JDS, Pressure Drop, Dub Marines and many others.
Solah's mix has also appeared on a recent episode of ITV's "Night And Day". |

Artist History
ROC put out their first single "DeadStep" in 1993. Self-released tracks such as "Girl With A Crooked Eye" and "God Willing", and subsequent albums on the Setanta and Virgin labels, have drawn acclaim from such diverse quarters as Radiohead, Orbital and Dannii Minogue. ROC's third album is near completion.
