Artist description
The home-made acoustic music of Newcomers Home carries listeners through an experience of innovative world sounds. Celtic melodies and Afro-Latin rhythms are woven into Americana style acoustic rock, all united by the fresh and inviting voice of lead singer/songwriter Katie Herzig. NCH's rich lyricism and raw enthusiasm onstage leave listeners not only well entertained, but also profoundly connected to the band’s highly personal music.

Artist History
Newcomers Home is one of the fastest growing bands out of Boulder, CO. The five piece acoustic rock band started as friends at the University of Colorado in the late 90's. But their talent and passion for good music was too strong to ignore so the band became what's been called "a diamond in the rough." They are now touring nationally, though they are still Boulder-based. They have released two cd's that with an overwhelmingly positive response. NCH remains a grass-roots band under their own label Deep Sea Dog Records. |
