Artist description The ASP's music is all about combining Dance Method with Goth, Funk, Alternative, and Metal grooves on drums, bass and guitars, all of which is complimented with an eerie point of view on vocals! Taking the technique set forth by Depeche Mode by using various synthesizers and distorting that idea into several guitar ranges and moods(in a smashing pumkins kind of approach), you end up with the punch and flawlessness of the likes of many Goths, Ravers and Rockers, etc today. Dance or mosh it's your choice!

Artist History Well The ASP has since evolved since 1992. It started with Joey"the josman"Roy's vision of a band that could make you feel the need to mosh and dance at the same time. With the long search for bandmates that would share this vision, and his 8 yrs of playing guitar for various known local artists in the surrounding Puerto Rico area in genres from Latin Jazz to Death Metal, he gave up and invested in various instruments (drums, bass, guitars and synthesizers) and a multirecording studio from what little money he had left, and started getting to work on his material. The offspring of which, has been various live shows, fans, a demo, and hopefully soon a record contract (From who? Well, I was hoping you knew!) Yet after various years of playing live and runnin around Puerto Rico, United States, Korea, etc. and band changes like crazy, The ASP has stood alive and well. Yes!, All music is initially recorded produced and played by Joey"the josman"Roy but, then, all it's live theatrics are ensembled, created and portrayed by the backup band! It has been a hard long road but you've kept us alive and we are not going to let you down anytime soon so rock on and help keep our music alive!
