Artist History
In 1997, I began work on my first solo project. Titled "Algorhythm," it began as an attempt to imagine what a journey through space might feel like as represented by sound. I have always been fascinated with sound since I was banging on pots and pans at the age of three. Technology has brought us so far, to be able to record, produce, and distribute independently at relatively reasonable cost, without intermediaries like record labels... so I began pursuing the technology and the instruments. Of courrse learning how to play them soon followed!
I guess I look at all instruments, electronic and acoustic, as really a medium to elicit emotions by resonating things we hear in the world around us. All forms of music, to me, therefore, are valid... provided the artist is sincere about what he/she/they are doing.
My hope is that I can, through music, help people visualize the good things in their life, past, present and future. |
