Artist History
queencab is, fundamentally, multi-instrumentalist duo Peter Hicks and Ryan Lamey.
Their uncanny melodies and straightforward pop presentation have garnered queencab a great deal of attention (both of critical and public opinion) that marks this act for some pretty great things.
Most telling perhaps is how deftly these two can go from crooning sweetly over a piano-laden pop groove to turning on a dime to growl over crunching guitars about defeat and retribution.
The pair spent the better part of 2002 collaborating on over two-dozen original songs, 13 of which would ultimately become their acclaimed debut "Looking For It."
Currently - queencab also exists as a live four-piece band - with the participation of bassist Kate Harrison and drummer Tracy Brooks. |
