Music Style
At times, Blues based-soulful little soundscapes tastefully played on guitar, and other times heavy-beatin'-head-bobbin'-rock and roll with a sexy sense of humour but still respectfully rooted in the tradition of the blues music and style, heavily influenced by Hendrix, Page, and Albert Collins to name a few. |
 |
Musical Influences
Jimi Hendrix, John Bonham, Jimmy Page, Robert Fripp, Roy Buchanan, Albert King, Albert Collins, BB King, Duke Robillard, Danny Gatton, Adrian Belew not in that order. |

Artist History
I started playing around 1979.The first song
I ever played was John Lennon's Working Class Hero.
I played in my room for a few years, listening
to Zeppelin, Hendrix, BB King, blues. Started
jaming with Dan Powell, my neighbour who
was learning drums at the same time.
Played in a garage band, got an
Ovation amp, got on TV, played
in a few parks. Met Mike Hampson, really
honed our skills, fell in love with guitar.
Stayed in bands, started playing bars, recording
overdubs, experimenting with sounds.
Got into better bands, played with better players,
started guesting, or subbing, got a reputation
as a professional, played some nice gigs,
made some good cash, and still am today as a
father and family guy who has his family'support.
