Artist History
A Few History lessons on what Khaibit means.
The sixth soul is Khaibit, the memory. The
Khaibit remembers everything Yummy Mummy ever
saw, heard, or learned, like multiplication
tables, or how to tie a shoe. And without his
Khaibit, he could never tell his friends about
all the wonderful things he saw in the Western
Lands. The Khaibit is their drive and mindless
ferocity, pure Oblivion-induced mania, while the
Bane-spirit is their temperance and cruel
intelligence. Also Meaning: The shadow of a man,
it could partake of funerary offerings and
was able to detach itself from the body and
travel at will, though it always was thought
to stay near the Ba.
The Khaibit isn't perfect--sometimes,
Yummy Mummy forgets to return a library book.
Everyone forgets things now and then. Sometimes
Yummy Mummy forgets how to tie his shoes. But
that's okay--he doesn't wear shoes!
