Artist description
Fusebox is a funk/jazz band by nature. Funk based rhythms held down with an active slap bassist with incredible feel. Layered on top of that is a melodic section consisting of smooth funk style guitar and a Tombone and Sax horn section that will blow you awat. As our motto goes.: Don't ask - just listen |

Artist History
This group consists of former members of the "Thunder and Lightning Band", and a self-taught studio funk drummer. T&L has made many accomplishments opening up for such acts such as Gregg Allman, Johhny Winter, and Rod Piazza, ranked 8th in the world in 2000 at the International Blues Competition in Memphis at the Hard Rock Cafe
In 2000 Thunder and Lightning asked funk drummer Peter Booras to fill in for them at the Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournement. From the practice sessions emerged a funk jazz sound the just had a smooth groove appeal.
Fusebax lay dorment while Thunder and Lightning reformed as Magilla. The saxaphone player went to drums and a new original sound was born. In 2002 the guitarist departed and Fusebox was reformed. |
