Artist History
Blue Cheese formed from two brothers(Craig & Chad), a step brother(Charlie), and a high-school friend(Johnny). They decided to begin writing and playing together after a few years apart from a former merger (Heavy Reign). In the begining, the music was heavily influenced by Janes Addiction & Primus. Fusing the two styles together with heavier "Metal" tendancies. During the next couple of years, the band became very experimental in writing & trying new sounds with various gagets, while in a very drug related state of mind. Through the growth of each member over the years, the sound began to mellow out a lot, and the styles and sounds a lot simplar. What had started as a bunch of young kids playing shows with loud amps, "infinity" playing televisions, and a complete disregard for musical standards, ended up being a bunch of young men playing shows with acoustics, bass & drums, and four simple spotlights. It grew from a small tight nit group of friends playing for a tight nit group of friends into a instrument for individual change on the brink of nothing. |
