Press Reviews
Deimos is progressive yet enlightened with their approach to music. Taking a bit from industrial and
electronica and grabbing more traditional rock and smashing them together resulting in an atomic collision.
“Inception” starts off as if it’s a dream pushing you against the wall and causing you to doubt all those other
bands you had in your top ten. The programming is top-notch and is never masked by guitars or percussion.
Vocally they find a modern rock approach like they do in “Even If” with its slight undertones of 80s synth-pop.
“Seven” conjures up images of Weezer and other modern emotional rock bands with its beautiful melodies and
contagious chorus. There are lo-fi handshakes with epics like “Infidelity” and “Where Do We Go From Here”.
Fans of The Anniversary and other synth-emo bands will love songs like “Something Real” and “Every Passing
Fad”. Deimos could be the undiscovered band that all of a sudden pops onto the scene with radioplay and
eventual MTV support. The scary thing is they did all of this on a digital recorder by themselves with a
shoestring budget. Imagine what will happen when they have the support of a record label.
