Artist History
Originally a studio project, adorn was founded in
the summer of 1999 by vocalist Camron Anderson and
guitarist Jason Herr. Herr wrote songs on guitar,
and filled in on bass and drums for recording purposes,
while Anderson wrote lyrics. Second guitarist Dave Shank
was asked to join the two a few months later and they quickly
started working on their material. For two years the group
bided their time, rehearsing, recording, and perfecting their sound.
In November 2001, drummer Jay Combs began practicing with the band,
filling a major spot in the adorn lineup. Recording engineer and co-producer
Lionel Lloyd agreed to play bass for the band on a temporary basis,
making it possible for adorn to play as a whole. |
