Artist History Swiss Auto Club, originally formed in the autumn of 2001 under the temporary moniker The Bingo Stars, live by the phrase: keep your friends close, but your guitars closer. The boys, John Bonaventura, Jack Hoopingarner, John Natelli and Luke Snell (all hailing from the Garden State) contend that the music should, at its pinnacle effectively express this ethos, and at the very least offer superbly written and arranged songs for sheer listening pleasure. Good music simply cannot afford to be wasted, says John B, guitar player and handler of vocal duties...Pop music is a chief emotional tonic of modern society... I am talking salvation here; especially when it is rocked out honestly. And soulfully. Armed with a battery of powerful songs and a devastating live show, Swiss Auto club has been playing numerous venues up and down the east coast in NJ, NY, CT, GA, and PA since their inception: The Saint of Asbury Park, Vassar College, University of Hartford, The Velvet Lounge of Savannah, GA, The Orchard Bar of Manhattan, and The Loop Lounge of Passaic, NJ to name a few.
