Press Reviews
From: DigitalCity Memphis:
This duo plays any folk, rock or country classic you want -- or will do a fine job of winging it. With a song selection that goes into the triple digits, they cater each set to their audiences, never missing a request and often playing hours before taking a break. Bob is known around town as a superior electric guitar player, but in this setting, he sticks to an acoustic or mandolin. Susie carries the rhythm on the acoustic guitar. Animated and determined, Susie is a certifiable card carrying country star waiting in the wings. She takes any song and makes it her own -- putting the original version to shame. Covers of 'Me and Bobby McGhee' or 'White Rabbit' have her signature Super-Susie-Salley-Size-It vocal approach. Back off Lorretta, there's a new gal singer in Tennessee and she means business. -- Nancy Apple
