Artist description
robert+karen play neurotic pop/rock music with a general disregard for conventional genre boundaries. the east bay quartet brew "a solid soup of majestic, noisy guitars, great rock beats, and stunningly mature lyrics."* synthetic bleeps, organic buzzes and percussive rattles punctuate dense, hook-heavy rock frameworks. an eclectic lyrical mojo and guileless vocal approach form the ideal temperance to r+k's melodic musings
