Artist description Four guys from Berlin are coming up with their mixture of raw HipHop sound and Jazz elements.Their line-up consists of double-bass, guitar, drums and turntables, no singers involved. Thus, DJ Illvibe's cuts aren't kept in the background like on many contemporary HipHop releases, they're rather playing a main part in the songwriting. And contrary to what you might expect when Hip-Hop meets Jazz, Lychee Lassi isn't going to bother you with softened drumloops and chilly saxophones. They display a musical challenge which canadian turntable visionary Kid Koala rated as 'next level shit'. The debut 'Kap Horn' out now- pushing the boundaries.
