    Artist History
The band, Dellow, has been through a series of lineup changes over the four and a half years of it's existence. It was originally formed in early 1998 by Mark Dellow and Peter Burgering who had played together many years earlier in Cannon. Shortly after these two got back together, Gary Bennett joined on bass, and his longtime friend Lee Brown on guitar shortly after that. Finding the right singer was a problem the band never completely overcame; classically-trained Lee Power joined the band in 1999 but left a little over a year later - the much overused but still diplomatically correct "musical differences" being cited as the reason for his departure. Tracy Gilmore joined the band some months later but she too left in early 2001, very shortly after Peter Burgering's departure in January of that year. Peter was replaced by Richard Dellow - son of Mark, the keyboard player - and the band continued with Mark, Richard, Lee and Gary for several months in the quest for a singer. None was found, and Gary left to join another band in the Autumn of 2001. By Spring of the following year the tension of rehearsing as a three-piece became more than the remaining band members could withstand and the trio disbanded. As of April 2002, the band itself no longer exists; Mark Dellow is in the process of recording a number of solo projects still under the name "Dellow", often with the assistance of ex-members of the band who are all still on amicable terms. The website mentioned below was the last version set up when Mark, Richard and Lee were working as a trio, and will be updated in the near future.
