Artist description
Bruening Sun was formed in New Castle Pa, by T.J. Hill & Mike Grego in 2000. The music combines a very earthy feel, with the best parts of American roots rock. Recording albums in the studio is a necessity...but to see a live Sun show, is something everyone should do once in their lives. Expert musicianship, and a comradery on stage gives the average club-goer the feeling of seeing a real concert.
Unlike most bands, Bruening Sun prides themselves on the fact that everybody in the band handles lead vocals at some point. Bridget Himmel plays bass, laying down a thick wall of sound. Eric Kraus and Terrance Hill handle all the precussion...and Big Mike Grego cuts through with his unique style of electric fussion lead. New commer Dan Jereb brings his own style of punk/funk/hardcore rythm guitar playing skills to the table. Overall, they are a force to recon with.
With a solid fan base of over 400 people from Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas, they're sure to pack ANY venue, and overcome any challenge

Artist History
All of the members of Bruening Sun have a long
background in music. Finding six people with such
dedication and talent had to be difficult, but
in October of 2001, the six rockers from Lawrence,
Beaver, Allegheny and Green County formed more
than just a band: they formed their destiny.
