Artist description D.J. Burdick, a former member of Sparrow, the Aviators and Charmer is now doing a solo project under the alias, Sweet Avenue. After a short run electronic solo project entitled, "the D.J. project," he is getting back to his alternative rock roots. "The songs have more of an acoustic feel, with some of my electronic influences mixed in." Burdick explains. "I'm kind of starting over, back to my acoustic guitar beginnings. But now I have 10 years of music experience in a variety of styles, so it should be very interesting." Burdick has been in a number of Seattle bands since he was 13, and now at 23 is coming into his own musically.
