Artist description D-Mass is a Funk/Hiphop DJ Based in Ottawa, Canada Who uses his exstensive record collection and his sythesizers to make a unique brand of downtempo music that he simply descibes as "Nitro"....a tag he created because he'd rather not have his music catagorized by anyone but himself and he's not very loyal to genre lines anyway.

Artist History D-Mass started his DJ career in 1992 as a selector for a small Bermudian Sound System called KJS...since then he has produced dancehall remix's for other sounds....... in 1998 he left KJS to form a turntablist crew in Canada, and by 2001 Palm Squad, Ottawa's best known turntablist crew was formed. NOw when he's not scratching it up he's working on one of his side projects as an abstract hiphop producer. and he's always makin' moves......
