Artist History
Caroline formed her first band when she was 16 years old in 1999 and fast became a headline artist in London's Club scene. Her first single sold over 15,000 copies in all formats "Fake the Blame" and was an instant hit with the press and radio. She was then signed up in Germany for a short lived development deal which gave her a Number 2 single "Dirty Skirty" on the Netmuziczone Rock Chart but she returned to England having turned down deals in Germany,Japan and USA in order to crack the UK market. Two limited edition LIVE albums were released to her fan base in 2001 ( Live at Dingwalls and Unplugged ) both selling out and needing second runs.
In 2002 she signed a deal with UK indie O2 Records and her first single since Fake The Blame is released in September 2003 - Called "Yellow Baby" it was an instant hit on pre-release in February of 2003. Over 40 stations playlisted the track and she packed out venues around the UK for the YELLA! tour with labelmates "Axlanbay"
The highlight of the campaign was a SPECIAL RADIO FEATURE on BBC Radio 6 Rock Show with BRUCE DICKINSON ( Iron Maiden ) who has tipped the track and interviewed Caroline playing both the single and white label "If You"
She has hooked up with ACE of Skunk Anansie who is Producing her debut studio album for O2 Records and co-writing several of the tracks. Already songs like "Say it all Now" and "Lost" are wetting the appetite of what Caroline promises will be the best rock album EVER by a UK female rock singer....we can't wait and on the evidence of her "warm up" material we well believe her. |
