Artist description
Calvaria Tree was created in 1996 by Justin Donaldson
to put intimate character themes to student films.
It grew over the years to experiment with ambient
textures, a de-tuned classical guitar, piano and
heavy drum programs. From the beautiful lo-fi
recordings of "Water" (1996), the introspective
sessions of "These Real" (1998) and the newest
self titled release (2002), Calvaria Tree manages
to create thematic soundscapes that soothe the
heart.
