Artist description
We're here to make a mark on the Metal scene with a bit of a difference to the stereo-typical genres of metal you would usually find in N.Ireland. Giving you dual vocals, grinding death metal down tuned guitar riffs, phat jazzy bass beat and hardcore metal drumming. |

Artist History
Formed in 2001 under the name of Silent Hatred and started as a 3 peice with Matt Thompson and Richard Troupe and Ed (wot ever his 2nd name was). Then over the coming months, Andy Moore who was originally s'pose to do 2nd guitar for the band later found out he couldn't play for shit so found his talent in growling as low as he could go. Finally in August of 2001 the band's search for a bassist was over when Chris Boyle came knockng on their door-step and few days afterwards the band changed its name to fit its new found mental-ness, when the aptly named themselves ASYLUM. Over the coming months tensions grew with Ed and he was eventually threw out of the band to be replaced by the young and talented (jazz inspired) drummer Johnny Hobson who sticked with the lads until their 3rd gig until he decided it wasn't really his thing nd left to pursue other musical endevours, then weeks later ASYLUM brought in their 1st drummer who actually plays metal style drumming named James McCullough. |
