Artist description
We are Stigma. We are offering no bullshit heavy
rock music to people who don’t like bullshit.
We’re not teeny kids dressed up as zombies
head-banging to goth and nu-metal. We’re also
not sitting listening to pathetic, gutless, crap
like Travis. We hate scenes, we hate the glory
days of Brit rock, we’re bored, we’re jaded but
that doesn’t mean our music has to be. We like it
plenty loud. We’re about promises and wickedness.
If rock ‘n’ roll is illegal then you can sling
our ass in jail. We hope to never end up like
Oasis, we hope to never end up like the Rolling
Stones circa 1975 (aren’t they the same thing??).
Nu-rock. Junk rockers. We want to assisinate
everything. To do that we need you. We want to
record and release. My shaky hands and bloody
eyes can say no more. Listen with your heart…

Artist History
Salutations. We’re Stigma. We want world
domination.
Channelling our magical powers into heavy
rock/punk/pop/slop we hope to brainwash every
teenager/idiot/loser/boozer/ into joining our
revolution. No need to dress up like a vampire
or a zombie, come as you are. More mid range,
less blood. Three people making this racket,
each one acting like a finely tuned side of a
triangle: Lyle Christeen, Johnny Dust and Greig
Bald. We want record breaking album awards daily
tabloid updates cheap and nasty money obsessed
merchandise sell out rock ‘n’ roll blaze of glory
drug fuelled binges. Keep the damn change,
we’re rock stars now. It’s not reinventing the
wheel, but it’s a tried and tested formula.
So c’mon kids, forget the razorblades,
LET’S GO TO HAWAII!!! |
