Artist History
Born and raised in Harlem, New York, Regina Chisholm, known to many as Majidah is an up and coming songwriter with a style uniquely all her own. Her lyrics represent the strength and courage of the human spirit that popular music seldom taps into.
Although Majidah has been a writer for most of her life, in early 1991 she realized her writing was a gift from God after experiencing a period of deep introspection, spiritual transformation and intense study. Now Majidah feels that her writing is a divinely destined obligation that had to be developed and expressed. Soon after that, inspirations flowed and her pen went into action creating lyrics that would touch the heart, mind and souls of its listeners.

Spiritual faith and inspiration propel Regina Chihsolm's optimistic musical viewpoint into the celestial realm. Because her lyrics stem from personal application, Chisholm writes with the conviction of one who has seen divine results. Her postive approach to life is an integral part of the motivation to get her music and her message heard.
