Artist description
Kathy's original and inspirational songs are thoughtful and provocative.
She has a unique and incredible style of guitar playing and a sweet mellow voice. Her lyrics have a bittersweet perception that is both shocking and humorous with songs like 'Bitch', which is a forceful satire of the media driven image of a woman's beauty while 'One Soul' is a quiet reminiscence of a love affair that has ended.

Artist History
While living in the South East, Kathy performed at many different venues - like Reading University's Student Union, MacDevitt's in Reading and The West End Arts Centre in Aldershot. In London, among the venues where Kathy played are The Mean Fiddler in Harlesden, Downstairs at The Swan in Stockwell and The King's Head in Fulham. Kathy moved to Bath in 1998, and played at the Albert Hole in Bedminster.
Now, after getting distracted by a 'proper job' for a while, Kathy is back. She has got two albums released on her own label, Homemade Jam. 'Glitter Bug Glow' is a collection of songs that were written and recorded after Kathy moved to Bath and 'Wild Flowers' has re-mixes of earlier songs. Kathy is now writing and recording new songs and will be performing again soon. Listen out!
