Artist description Three guys from Pasadena who play original alternative rock/emo songs, and possibly a cover here and there. Guitarist/vocalist Doh Whang writes the songs and most of the lyrics.

Artist History Detour was formed in 2000 when three 11th graders from Marshall Fundamental High School in Pasadena thought that it would be cool to put their talents to use and have fun playing together in a rock band. Detour has played on a local TV show called "Around Midnight," and also in the Marshall talent show in which they received first place out of several bands. In August of 2002, Detour was the opening band at No Future Cafe in Pasadena, a center for local music. The members of the band are currently away at separate colleges, but expect reunions at major holidays and during the summer.
