Artist description
The MINIMUM WAGE BAND are the most exciting retro classic-rock band to emerge from the Los Angeles music scene in years.
They take their name from all the hard working people of the world who are mostly over-worked, underpaid and rarely appreciated.
Their music and lyrics speak a common language of peoples hopes and desires.
In a musical world that is full of samples, grunge and negativity, The MINIMUM WAGE BAND offers a breath of fresh air.
Their live performances at prestigious venues like the Country Club,
Club "M" and the legandary Palomino Club have brought them critical acclaim.
Spencer Davis of the Spencer Davis Group and currently with the Classic Rock Allstars,
raves, "Their new CD("The Mimimum Wage Band")is fantastic, a must for your collection ,
and their live performances are not to be missed. Their first CD(Working Man's Dilema)is also
an extremely fine piece of work." |

Artist History
The MINIMUM WAGE BAND was formed in April of 1992 by Mark Borsuk and Mark Kohler.
Borsuk is originally from the Bronx, NY where he grew up as a solo performer at venues throughout Greenwich Village and the Manhattan area. His prolific songwriting
and consistently great vocals produce timeless music.
Kohler, a native Californian, started playing drums at age 14. His passion moved to guitar and he studied them both along with musical arrangement at Dick Groves Music Workshop.
Mark & Mark have extensive live and studio performances with SPENCER DAVIS,
RITCHIE HAYWARD, MATT ANDES, LENNY CASTRO, MIKE LANDAU, RICK SERRETTE, and JOHNY BARBATA.
Mark Borsuk, Mark Kohler, Art Allphin, Jeff Winter, and Roger Powell have been together since 1993
and are just the right combination to blend Borsuk's melodic ballad with Kohler's high-energy rock.
This unique combination insures their music to be timeless.
